For postdocs, there are excellent funding opportunities via the ESPRIT program of the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). As a former Humboldt fellow, Martin Beyer is also eligible for hosting Feodor Lynen Fellowships from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. The time before such funding is available may be bridged from ongoing research grants. Typical lead time from first contact to start of a postdoc position is 8-12 months.
