The wheel of time - new approaches in optical dating of geological and archaeological rock surfaces
In this project we refine and validate optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) techniques as a rock-surface chronometer, integrating novel luminescence signals and EM-CCD imaging. The outcome will be a robust, innovative method to reliably constrain the burial and exposure histories of rock surfaces previously undatable. (max 50 words)
