Hallmetals – Materials science analyses of metals from the famous Iron Age cemetery of Hallstatt, Austria
Within this project we explore the copper exchange systems and metal consumption of the mining community of Hallstatt. Primary target was to explore the metal procurement strategies and the flow of metal (mixing and recycling) within the settlement from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age.
