Traceo Lab
In the laboratories of the Department of Archaeologies, we investigate archaeological surfaces on which traces must be documented and residues sampled prior to conservation. In addition to macro- to micro-level analyses, we have the equipment to produce 3D reconstructions based on Structure from Motion and Structured Light. For further analyses, we collaborate with colleagues from the Material Characteristics competence area and the Medical University of Innsbruck Core-Facilities MicroCT and 3D Bioprinting.
