Prof. Günther H. Filz member of the External Advisory Board (EAB) for KU Leuven's architectural departments

KU Leuven's architectural departments have constituted a new External Advisory Board (EAB). It consists of 

  • Barbara Campbell-Lange (University of Westminster, UK),
  • Barbara Penner (University College London, UK),
  • Camillo Boano (University of Turino, Italy),
  • Carol Monticelli (Politecnico di Milano, Italy),
  • Ellen Braae (University of Copenhagen, Denmark),
  • Günter H. Filz (University of Innsbruck, Austria),
  • Hélène Jannière (Rennes 2 University, France), and
  • John Clarkson (University of Cambridge, UK).


The External Advisory Board (EAB) operates across both the Faculty of Architecture (campuses in Brussels and Ghent) and the KU Leuven Urban Studies Institute (LUSI). Composed of external experts from academia, urban policy, and industry, the EAB evaluates and advises on the university's research, interdisciplinary collaboration, and strategic institutional direction.
The latest External Advisory Board Report has been published in May 2026.
