About me
Kernbereich: Geschlechtergeschichte
Since October 2025, I have been working as a project assistant at the Department of History and Empirical Cultural Analysis at the University of Innsbruck. I am pursuing my PhD in Education and Educational Sciences and am also a member of the MSCA Doctoral Network “Co-Construction in the Field of Social Welfare” (COCOSO) and also a member of the Innsbruck Doctoral College “Gender and Gender Relations in Transformation”.
In my doctoral project, entitled “Power, Gender and Participation in the Global History of the Social Work Profession”, I explore the historical and social processes through which social work has been established as a recognized profession at both national and international levels. My research focuses particularly on gendered, intersectional, and global power relations that have shaped the development of the social work profession.
Before starting my current position as a PhD candidate, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Münster University of Applied Sciences in 2021 and completed my Master’s degree in Diversity Studies in the Social Science at the University of Göttingen in 2024. During my studies, I worked as a student tutor as well as a student and research assistant at Münster University of Applied Sciences and at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity.
