We introduce ourselves: Our board of trustees
Our Board of Trustees guarantees that the donations entrusted to us are distributed carefully and responsibly. Firstly, the applications are scrutinised by our internal university experts or by a jury as part of a call for proposals. They assess whether the projects are well thought out and feasible and whether there is a guarantee that they will be competently supported and completed.
The Board of Trustees also approved the new funding strategy. In future, we want to fund fewer, but larger and more effective projects. The plans include focusing on important priority topics such as diversity, digitalisation and internationalisation as well as other important initiatives that will benefit quality enhancement in research, teaching and third mission projects.
