Running for 12 years, the QIS program has supported Ben as a CIFAR Fellow for the past six years. This final meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the program’s successes, remember key members of our community, and celebrate the awarding of the 2026 Turing Award to long‑term CIFAR members Gilles Brassard and Charles H.
