Invitation to the Launch and Go-Live of the

Documentation Portal for Libretto Research

A significant part of the Archives for Text and Music Studies at the Innsbruck Institute of Romance Studies is the extensive documentation on libretto research, established thanks to a donation from Prof. Albert Gier. It comprises materials covering the entire history of the libretto and opera from its beginnings to the present day, with a particular focus on France and Italy. This collection, which has been fully digitized and to the launch of which we are honored to invite you, will now be available online to all interested researchers.
