The Energy Efficient Building Unit at the Lighting Technology Congress 2025
The Lighting Technology Congress 2025 took place in Innsbruck from 20/05/2025 to 21/05/2025 under the motto “Together with us for good light!”. The congress is organised annually by the Austrian Lighting Society (LTG) and brings together lighting experts, architects, planners, electrical specialists, municipalities and authorities. David Geisler-Moroder and Sascha Hammes from the Unit of Energy Efficient Building were present and were able to provide insights into ongoing research projects in the fields of daylighting, artificial lighting and lighting control in their presentation “Light for energy-efficient buildings: research projects at the University of Innsbruck” and could exchange ideas with numerous lighting experts from Austria. The LTG's “Sustainability Working Group”, in which the unit EEB is also involved, was also presented as part of the conference.
