CLIMA 2025: Strong Participation of Unit of Energy Efficient Buildings

From June 4 to 6, 2025, the REHVA HVAC World Congress CLIMA 2025 took place at the Politecnico di Milano in Milan - one of the world's leading specialist congresses in the field of heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC). The focus was on topics such as decarbonization, healthy and energy-efficient buildings in the context of future climates.

The Unit of Energy Efficient Building was prominently represented with six oral presentations and one poster contribution. The topics covered included energy optimization of new buildings and systems, thermal and acoustic simulations for the renovation of apartment buildings, measurement results and analyses of domestic hot water preparation and indoor air quality. Moreover, innovative approaches in the field of building information modeling (BIM) and digital twins were also presented.

Another key aspect was the international exchange with experts from research and industry, which provided fresh momentum for collaborative developments and forward-looking solutions.
