Emilio Aguilera-Valdes
Emilio joined the Ultracorrelated Quantum Matter group of Prof. Dr. Hanns-Christoph Nägerl to become part of the RbCs laboratory. Currently they do research on Many-Body dynamical localization in a Quantum Kicked Rotor gas of bosons and work towards studying many-body phenomena on ultracold RbCs molecules. Emilio received his masters from the Pontifical University of Chile where he studied Floquet-driven systems of ultracold atoms in triple-well potentials

Roberts Berkis
Roberts has joined quantum interface group of Prof Tracy Nothup , where he currently investigates Ion traps with integrated high Fiber Cavities. He received his masters degree from University of Latvia working with whispering gallery mode (WGM) micro resonators.

Simon Brunner
Simon joined the group of Prof. Helmut Ritsch, where he studies cold atoms in optical multimode cavities. In particular his aim is to establish this system as a platform for analog gravity. He earned his master's degree at Heidelberg University, where he conducted research on analog gravity in Bose-Einstein condensates.

Alberto Canali
Alberto joined the group of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Grimm, where he is working on an experiment on Fermionic quantum mixture with high mass imbalance in the DyK laboratory. He received his Master from the University of Trento where he worked on an experimental proposal of an Analogue Gravity model for a Polariton system.

Tim Duka
Tim joined the QCosmo group of Prof. Dr. Philipp Schindler, where he works on the quantum control and spectroscopy of single polyatomic molecular ions co-trapped with atomic ions in a linear Paul trap using a protocol related to quantum logic spectroscopy and contributes to the preparation of a new cryogenic experimental system. He received his M.Sc. in Quantum Science and Technology jointly from TU München and LMU München.

Yigit Erarslan
Yigit joined the Photonics group of Prof. Dr. Gregor Weihs, where he is working on experimental tests of fundamental principles of quantum mechanics using hybrid integrated photonic circuits that combine solid-state quantum emitters with integrated waveguide structures. He received his joint Master’s degree from Sapienza University of Rome and Université Paris-Saclay.

Tommaso Faleo
Tommaso joined the Photonics group of Prof. Dr. Gregor Weihs to investigate the collective interference phenomena of multi-photon states in multi-mode interferometers. He received his Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Milan.

Martin Fasser
Martin joined the group of Prof. Dr. Helmut Ritsch for his master's project on a superadiant laser based on a thermal atomic beam. He continues his research within the group on the topic of cooperative dynamics of dipole interacting quantum emitter arrays in optical devices.

Florian Foitzik
Florian joined the group of Elisabeth Gruber where he is investigating cold molecular ions and ionic clusters via helium tagging spectroscopy. His research aims towards a better understanding of the physics and chemistry in the interstallar medium. He started the PhD after working on solvation processes of multiply charged ions in the same research group.

Florian Goschin
Florian joined the quantum interfaces group of Prof.a Tracy Northup where he is studying the coupling of a hybrid system consisting of an single ion and a levitated nanoparticle to an optical cavity. He received his Master in Physics at the LMU Munich, where he developed a spectroscopic technique to perform temperature measurements on the nanoscale using plasmonic nanoparticles.

Jessica Hartmann
Jessica joined the group of Prof. Dr. Martin Beyer to study the reactivity of gas-phase sodium chloride cluster ions. She works with a Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometer and performs quantum chemical calculations. She received her Master in Physics at the University of Innsbruck under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Martin Beyer.

Louis Lafforgue
Louis joined the group of Prof. Dr. Francesca Ferlaino end of 2022 for his PhD studies and is currently working on the setup and the experiment on optical lattice and bloch oscillations. He received his MSc from the University of Innsbruck on a Study of a dipolar gas confined in a one-dimensional lattice and construction of a new imaging setup for the ERBIUM experiment.

Jean Paul Louys Sansó
Jean Paul joined the Quantum Interfaces group led by Prof. Dr. Tracy E. Northup, where he is working on internal cooling of levitated nanoparticles and towards matter-wave interferometry experiments with 10 MDa nanoparticles. He received his Licenciatura in Physics degree at Universidad de Buenos Aires, studying photon generation due to the dynamical Casimir effect.

Sarah Madlener, DK ALM student speaker
Sarah has joined the group of Prof. Dr. Martin Beyer in 2021 for her Master thesis concerning the photochemistry of salt clusters. Her PhD thesis project will be based on the research outcome of 2 former DK ALM PhD students and is an extension of her Master thesis. In general it concerns the photochemistry of doped alkali halide salt clusters and their ability to serve as laboratory models in sea salt aerosols.

Dasarath Swaraj
Dasarath Swaraj completed his master’s degree at IISER Bhopal. He joined the group of Prof. Dr. Roland Wester on the project "DoMInIon," aiming to build a new high resolution Velocity Map Imaging spectrometer and study the ion-molecule reaction dynamics of interstellar molecules.

Emma Weber
Emma completed her master thesis on piezo-actuated loading mechanism for nanoparticles under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Roamin Quidant at the ETH Zurich. She will join the group of Prof. Dr. Tracy E. Northup in July 2026, working on
preparing quantum states of levitated nanomechanical systems.
