The Mathematics bridge course is primarily aimed at first-year students in the Computer Science, Physics and Mathematics and Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics teacher training programmes. First-year students are encouraged to participate. The mathematics bridge course is intended to
- make the often steep entry into a computer science, mathematics or physics degree programme easier,
- provide an insight into the course of a computer science, maths or physics degree,
- provide a refresher course in the basics of maths and compare your own expectations with the requirements of your chosen degree course,
- provide tips on starting a degree programme,
- offer the opportunity to get to know fellow students and form study groups in advance.
