As part of the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics at the University of Innsbruck, our team is responsible for all aspects of mathematics and its beauty.

We conduct mathematical research in a wide range of topics and are heavily involved in international collaborations and many externally funded projects.

We design the Bachelor's programme Mathematics, which offers a sound foundation in the entire breadth of modern mathematics. Our Master's programme Mathematics (in English) enables both a broad-based in-depth mathematical education and specialisation in one of our research areas. At Doctoral studies, the focus is on internationally visible research in a current field of mathematics.
Furthermore, we are significantly involved in the specialised training of Bachelor's degreeand Master's degree programme in Mathematics and are responsible for the basic mathematical training of many other fields of study.
