University Center Obergurgl
Every four years, the conference is held at the University Center Obergurgl of the University of Innsbruck. Obergurgl is a small village located 100 km away from Innsbruck in the back of the Ötztal Valley at 1930 m above sea level, near the place where Ötzi (a well-preserved natural mummy) was found.
Accomodation:
The participants will be accommodated in the University Center Obergurgl with rooms spread out over several cabins, or in nearby hotels (walking distance up to 400 m to the University Center).
Meals:
Breakfast, coffee breaks, a lunch buffet and joint meals (dinner) are included. All meals will be organized in the University Center.
Leisure time:
The University Center is located right next to the slope of the skiing region Obergurgl / Hochgurgl with more than 100 km of slopes. More information about skiing passes and prices can be found here. Apart from alpine ski slopes, there are also several cross-country trails in the village. Furthermore, Obergurgl is a good place for tobogganing, hiking, snowshoeing, etc.
