The venue

The conference takes place at Ágnes-Heller-Haus a recent building of the University of Innsbruck right in the middle of the city.

All sessions will take place in room 04K100–04M100. Coffee breaks will be in the same building, either on the terrace or in the cafeteria, depending on the weather.

Travel information

Train

Innsbruck central station (Innsbruck Hbf) is well connected to the European rail network. Direct trains are available to and from Bologna and Venice, and the station also offers direct connections with major destinations such as Munich, Vienna and Zurich. The ÖBB Nightjet services provide overnight direct links with Hamburg and Amsterdam. For the latest information on train routes and schedules, please consult the ÖBB website

Plane

Innsbruck can be reached by plane via Innsbruck, Munich or Verona airports.

From Verona there is a direct train from the main station (Verona Porta Nuova) to Innsbruck central station, on peak travelling days seat reservation is recommended. Transport from Verona Airport to Verona Porta Nuova (train station) is offered by the ATV Verona Airlink service.

From Munich there is a direct bus from Munich airport to Innsbruck central station, as well as a direct train from the main station (München Hbf) to Innsbruck central station, on peak travelling days seat reservation is recommended. Transport from Munich airport to Munich central station is possible by train or bus.

From Innsbruck airport the city center can be reached via public transport (Linie F). 

Public transport

Innsbruck has a good public transport system that conveniently connects the city center to the outskirts. Information on ticket and routes can be found on the IVB website.

If you prefer travelling by bike, Innsbruck has many citybikes stations operated by Nextbike
