Internship Market Intelligence (m/f/d)

The internship is to be filled starting from mid of January 2026 for at least 6 months. There is the possibility of an extension of 6 months. The basic salary for this position is based on the statutory minimum salary of EUR 2.645,68 gross per month in Austria.

Aufgaben

  • Develop a database with our historical sales figures and external macroeconomic data

  • Perform regression analyses to identify the key drivers of the gas engine market (strategic market drivers)

  • Create a forecasting model for our core markets based on your analysis

  • Set up a system to detect changes in identified market drivers early

  • Participate in strategic projects and share your ideas in the evaluation of new market segments

Qualifikation

  • You are currently studying or close to completing your degree in Economics, Energy Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or similar

  • You are passionate about working with data, discovering connections, and making a meaningful impact – statistical knowledge is important, as well as a solid understanding of economics and preferrably energy generation

  • You have strong analytical skills and can explain complex topics in a clear and understandable way

  • You enjoy working independently and contributing new ideas

  • You are fluent in English and ideally in German, too

  • Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are second nature to you

  • You are familiar with databases and statistical programs
