Research interests

My main interests lie in “negative heritage” related to the National Socialist period and psychiatric institutions, as well as in practice theory and feminist archaeology, particularly gender biases in knowledge production. In addition, I work on South-West Asia, with a focus on the development of complex societies, pottery studies, and ancient foodways/food politics/commensality.
