Course "The publishing process from an editor's perspective" by Georg Wohlfahrt

Georg Wohlfahrt offers an online short course, see below.

Title:

The publishing process from an editor’s perspective

Background:

Georg Wohlfahrt served as an (associate) editor in the journals Biogeosciences and Agricultural and Forest Meteorology for more than 10 years and presently acts as one of three chief editors in Agricultural and Forest Meteorology.

Abstract:

What happens to a paper after submission, to many authors, especially early career scientists, is a black box. The aim of this presentation is to allow a view behind the scenes of the publishing process and to clarify potential misinterpretations in the editorial workflow. In addition, while this presentation won’t tell you how to write better papers, it will give tips on how to increase the likelihood of your papers being accepted.

The course will take place this Friday, January 21, from 1 to 3 pm. For more details (Zoom link, ...) see the related email.
