Linda Hintsteiner, PhD

Linda Hintsteiner received her doctorate in Management Accounting/Controlling from the University of Innsbruck and has been working as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Accounting, Auditing, and Taxation since 2026. After several years of practical experience in a global corporation, she decided to pursue an academic career. She completed research stays at the Stockholm School of Economics (August–September 2022), Tampere University (October 2022), and Copenhagen Business School (August–October 2024) and is a member of the European Accounting Association (EAA) and the Association of University Professors of Business Administration (VHB).
For her dissertation, she received dissertation grants from the University of Innsbruck (Dissertationsstipendium, Förderstipendium) and was awarded a dissertation price by the Dr. Maria Schaumayer Stiftung (Anerkennungspreis).
