On May 19, 2025, we welcomed guests from Otto Friedrich University Bamberg, the University of Regensburg, and the University of Lausanne to an interuniversity research seminar at the University of Innsbruck. This format has become an established fixture in recent years and takes place annually at different locations with the aim of promoting scientific exchange in a relaxed, collegial atmosphere.
This year's program featured a total of five exciting presentations on topics from different research areas and projects at various stages of development. The presentations ranged from planned doctoral projects to advanced research papers by more experienced postdocs. Both the speakers, in the form of valuable feedback, and the participants, such as the PhD students at our institute, benefited from the seminar and gained valuable insights.
And, of course, there was plenty of time for socializing: a joint evening program, good conversations—and for some, even a short mountain hike (sore muscles included).
A big thank you to all participants for the open exchange, the exciting contributions, and the pleasant atmosphere. We are already looking forward to seeing you again next year!
