In September, the biennial symposium of the EARNet (European Auditing Research Network) took place.
The symposium featured inspiring presentations and exciting discussions, in which Stéphanie Mittelbach-Hoermanseder and Sven Hartlieb's team participated, taking the opportunity to exchange ideas with international colleagues on research and current developments, particularly in the field of auditing.
Two research projects co-authored by Sven Hartlieb were presented at the symposium, and he was invited as a discussant to critically evaluate a project presented at the symposium.
Before the symposium began, our doctoral students Elena Koll and Corvin Kintzel took part in the PhD workshop organized by EARNet, which explicitly promotes exchange and personal development among young scientists.
The symposium and the preceding PhD workshop not only offered exciting ideas and new perspectives, but also the opportunity to see familiar faces again and make new valuable contacts with international scientists.
