Abstract
The Austrian project is investigating the possibilities of a detailed indoor air quality assessment (including these mechanisms), in simplified form with existing simulation tools, to enable an indoor air quality assessment which goes beyond CO2-concentration and relative humidity. The focus is on modeling fine particulate matter and formaldehyde concentrations.
The new calculation methods and assessment metrics will be applied to investigate innovative ventilation concepts in order to derive relevant design information for the implementation of compact and cost-effective ventilation solutions for residential housing.
