Simple and robust models for the prediction of the dynamic thermal behavior of buildings are needed for the assessment of energy performance measures and for the integration of buildings in smart grid applications. This project delivers the scientific basis and potential solutions for the energetic characterisation of buildings using dynamic measurements. In future application the necessary data shall ideally be acquired during normal operation and with the existing in-house infrastructure.
