Apart from my research interests I am a lover of the outdoors, with hiking and swimming in summer and all kinds of winter sports during the cold months here in Innsbruck. I have been skiing since I was able to walk and whenever there is a good amount of fresh snow, you can find me on a nearby mountain. I further am a passionate Quadball (Quidditch) player, having participated in serval international tournaments. In my free time, I love to cook, read and travel. I enjoy devising recipes from seasonal fruits and vegetables to then share these meals with my friends during dinner parties.  Whenever I have a vacation from the lab, you can usually find me on a multi-week train trip across Europe.
