Building Bridges between Innsbruck and France

Universität Innsbruck and the French Embassy in Austria share the goal of fostering scientific cooperation, mobility, and cultural exchange between Innsbruck and France. This commitment is formalised in a three-year agreement (2025–2027) covering all academic disciplines at Universität Innsbruck and implemented in the spirit of interdisciplinarity. In 2026, particular attention will be given, though not exclusively, to the centennial celebrations of the French cultural presence in Austria, the University’s Research Areas, and collaborative initiatives within the framework of the Aurora European University Alliance.
