Tasks (selection)
- Participation in LTRGI projects and independent research
- Research-led teaching
- (Co-)supervision of final theses
- Presentations and publications
Must-have requirements
- Completed teacher training programme and doctorate / PhD in English
- Completed doctorate in the field of applied linguistics or foreign language education
- Presentation and publication activities
- German language skills (if not L1): C1 level according to the CEFR; English: C2
Desired requirements (selection)
- Experience in teaching Subject-Specific Education at university
- Teaching experience at school
- Experience of mobility

Senior Lecturer (substitute employee) with a doctorate/PhD
Tasks (selection)
- Independent teaching in English subject-specific education and cross-language education
- Participation in language testing research and independent research
- Supervising students
- Supervision of Bachelor's theses
Must-have requirements
- Completed teacher training programme and doctorate / PhD in English
- Doctorate in applied linguistics or foreign language education
- University teaching experience in English subject-specific education
- German language skills (if not L1): C1 level according to the CEFR; English: C2
Desired requirements (selection)
- Expertise in testing and assessing foreign languages
- Knowledge of the Austrian school system
- Teaching experience in English at school
- Publication and presentation activities
Terms and benefits
- Duration: 24 May 2026 – 23 May 2028, but only until the jobholder returns
- Extent of employment: substitute with 20 hours per week for each position
