At the NCME 2025 Annual Meeting in Denver (April 23-26, 2025), Daniel Isbell and Jieun Kim from the University of Hawaii at Manoa presented the paper “Test Security and Validation Arguments in Language Assessment”, which they co-authored with Benjamin Kremmel.
The presentation was part of the symposium on “Elevating Test Security in Validity Theory”. The session, which was organized and chaired by Will Belzak from Duolingo, discussed the highly topical issue of test security and remote proctoring in language assessment, and how they should be integrated into validity theory.
