From 23 to 25 September 2026, our group attended the 2026 conference of the ÖGSD Österreichische Gesellschaft für Sprachendidaktik (Austrian Society for Language Education) in Innsbruck. The conference focused on the theme of “Interaction, Innovation, and Inclusion in Foreign Language Teaching”.
🔹Eva Konrad and Viktoria Ebner presented a poster outlining findings of their study on memes about high-stakes exams. The project explores what these memes reveal about the experience of preparing for and taking high-stakes examinations, and the functions memes can serve.
🔹Former team member Elisa Guggenbichler and Benjamin Kremmel gave a workshop at the event on making assessments more inclusive for neurodivergent learners.
