LTRGI at LTRC 2026 in Montreal

Benjamin Kremmel represented LTRGI at this year’s Language Testing Research Colloquium (LTRC 2026).

As one of the leading events in our field, LTRC offered a rich program and valuable discussions with colleagues from around the globe. As the current Secretary of the International Language Testing Association (ILTA) Benjamin also attended the all-day ILTA Executive Board meeting on the day before the conference.

While at the conference, he shared some of the work happening in our research group as part of the symposium on “Mid-level Actors in Global – Local Negotiations”, and in a poster presentation showed initial findings from a comparison of global teaching practices in language testing and assessment that he is working on with Paula Winke and Sarah Egger as part of the upcoming volume “Syllabi in Language Assessment”.
