Summary of the project
The AchieVE-ZEB project supports the objectives of the proposal for the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive in relation to zero-emission buildings in line with the sustainability objectives of the EU Green Deal by improving the sector's expertise in areas such as phased renovation, energy efficient heating, modular renovation elements, summer comfort, circular economy and life cycle assessment. The consortium, made up of institutions with leading expertise, works together to create high-quality training materials or update existing ones, using a comprehensive methodology. Target groups include energy consultants, planners, project developers and building professionals in Austria and Germany. The project ensures viability beyond its lifetime through the approval of curricula, continuous communication and dissemination, and replication strategies such as training of trainers, multifunctional training materials, English translations and an exploitation plan. The stakeholders supporting the project and the networks of individual project participants will be heavily involved during the project and especially in the development of a replication strategy.
