Stanislas Grassin Delyle

Stanislas Grassin Delyle is a professor of medicine at the University of Paris-Saclay / University of Versailles Saint-Quentin and a clinical pathologist at Foch Hospital, France. He currently serves as Director of the Department of Health Biotechnology within the Faculty of Medicine and heads the Foch Exhalomics platform. His expertise spans respiratory pharmacology, metabolomics, translational medicine, and clinical diagnostics.
Prof. Grassin Delyle collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to advance the clinical implementation of breath analysis, with a particular focus on real-time mass spectrometry platforms such as proton transfer reaction–mass spectrometry (PTR-MS).
His main research interests centre on diagnosis and therapeutic drug monitoring in respiratory and infectious diseases. He leads multi-omic research at the PROMETHEUS Comprehensive Sepsis Centre and actively contributes to several national and European research consortia.
A dedicated educator, Prof. Grassin Delyle teaches pharmacology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His supervision of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers reflects a strong commitment to scientific innovation and the promotion of interdisciplinary expertise. He has been a member of the European Respiratory Society and the International Association of Breath Research since 2019.
Through his work, he contributes to the advancement of personalised, non-invasive diagnostic approaches in respiratory and systemic diseases.
