Teaching
The Unit of Engineering Mathematics oversees the basic education in mathematics, computer science (including programming languages) and probability theory/statistics in the bachelor's and master's programs. Numerical mathematics, advanced analysis, numerics of finite elements and optimization are offered at higher lectures. Another course on operations research and risk management is designed together with the IBT. Special in-depth courses such as numerical methods, data analysis, stochastics or optimization are held as required for Doctoral Programme Engineering Sciences.
