The platform "Scientific Computing" (SC; formerly "Informatik & Applied Computing", IAC) integrates all research activity of the University of Innsbruck in the fields of information technology (IT) and e-Science. It consists of the focal points "Computational Engineering", "High Performance Computing" and "Computer Science".

Aims of the platform SC are to develop synergies by exchange of information, sharing of resources and knowledge within the university and beyond, interdisciplinary research and science-guided teaching, coordinated procurement of third-party funds, as well as extension of the e-Infrastructure... more>>
