Exams and how to register
Exams at the Information Systems Unit I exclusively take place during the officially communicated examination weeks. The registration can be done via LFU:Online or directly by contacting the Examination Office.
Punktesystem bei der Gesamtprüfung (Multiple-Choice)
Each question has 5 possible answeres. At least one of them is correct and one of them is incorrect. Each question brings 3 scores at best and 0 scores at worst. The actual score can be calculated with the help of the following equation:
p ... Actual score
r ... Number of correct answers
f ... Number of wrong answers (f = 5 - r)
rk ... Number of correct choices
fk ... Number of incorrect choices
Beispiel 1
In a question with three correct answeres and two incorrect answers you have marked two of the correct and one of the incorrect ones. Following the equation from above, you get [(3/3)*2] 2 scores for the correct marks but you lose [(3/2)*1] 1,5 scores for the incorrect mark. You have an actual score of 0,5.
Beispiel 2
You have marked none of the correct and two of the incorrect answeres in the same question. You will get [(3/3)*0] 0 scores for the correct marks and lose [(3/2)*2] 3 scores for the incorrect mark. However, as the minimum score for each question is 0, you will not get a negative score.

Insights are normally take place after the examination week. The actual date is communicated via E-Campus. Please, register for the insight via your website.
