Curriculum Vitae
Tanja Kohn was born in 1978 in Flensburg (Germany). She holds a Diploma Degree in Business Administration from Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck, Austria. She specialized in Information Systems and Human Research Management. Her Master Degree thesis is on “Knowledgemanagementrelations within companies”. During her studies she spent time studying abroad. At University of Padova in Italy she studied economics and italian literature. In Taiwan she participated in a Summer School Programm in economics and in Egypt she studied arabic language, culture and politics.
Since September 2005, she has been with the School of Management, Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck, Austria at the Department of Information Systems, Production & Logistics Management as a research assistant and a Ph.D. student. Her research interests include Information and Communication Technologies in Developing Countries, information systems, business process management and knowledge management. She shows interests in political science.
The title of her Ph.D.-thesis is “Knowledge Transfer with e-Learning Technologies - Initiatives from Developed to Developing Countries” and is supervised by Ronald Maier.
