Connecting across a firewall
Network firewalls can allow or block packets based on the destination address and port. If you are using ICA through a network firewall, use the information provided in this section to configure the firewall settings. You can configure the ICA client to connect to a Citrix server through a firewall.
To connect across a firewall
- Click the Option menu and choose Settings. The Settings dialog box appears.
- Select the Firewall Settings page.
- Click Use alternate address for firewall connection.
- Add the external internet address of a Citrix server that is on the subnet to which you want to connect to the Address List in the Server Location page. See Setting Server Location.
