Nonlinear Plasma Dynamics

The "Nonlinear Dynamics " group at the Institute for Ion Physics and Applied Physics at University of Innsbruck is investigating the physics and complex dynamics of ionized many-body systems and magnetized plasmas by means of theoretical and computational methods.

Our present research focus is on development and application of models for investigation of of nonlinear dynamics, turbulence and structure formation in magnetically confined fusion plasmas.
