Hosted in the picturesque setting of Mösern, near Innsbruck, Austria, the event offered a unique opportunity for interdisciplinary learning and collaboration.

Participants explored key determinants of individual behavior and market performance in sectors such as healthcare, legal services, and financial advice. Special lectures led by Axel Ockenfels (“Negotiating Climate Cooperation”), Esther Blanco (“Green Behavior”), and Markus Walzl (“Label Credence Goods”) delved into selected topics in Environmental and Behavioral Economics, enriching the program with diverse perspectives and insights.

In addition to the academic program, participants enjoyed networking opportunities amidst the scenic surroundings of Mösern. Generous time slots between sessions allowed for fruitful discussions and connections with fellow scholars and students, while also providing opportunities to partake in various activities in the nearby alpine region.

The Winter School also featured the two-day workshop, "Innsbruck Winter Summit – (Un)Ethical Behavior in Markets," with keynote speeches by Antonio Cabrales and Axel Ockenfels. In addition, 10 international speakers provided interesting insights on the topic from different research perspectives ranging from pretended green behavior to feedback systems in credence goods markets.

Overall, both events proved to be a stimulating and enlightening experience, fostering academic growth, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas in the field of economics and behavioral science.
