Project:
„Recognition of Prior Learning“
With this project the University of Innsbruck together with the Tyrolean higher education institutions of the Tyrolean Conference for Higher Education, the province and the province’s education authority aims at developing processes that ensure that graduates of vocational secondary schools, who are interested in studying, get information on recognition of prior achievements early to make it possible to plan their further education. The project aims at identifying overlapping areas of secondary and tertiary education offers and to promote quality-assured permeability on a regional level. The cooperation also aims at contributing to an innovative advancement of the Tyrol as a higher education location.
At the University of Innsbruck the Coordination Office of the project was located within the Office of Bologna Process and Teaching Development. The duration of the project is expected to be three years with the financial support from the Tyrolean government.
