Its annual congress provides researchers from around the world with a platform to present their current projects and engage in networking.
This year, a total of approximately 800 different research projects (including 30 from Austria) were presented and discussed by scholars and practitioners in the field of accounting. In the context of panel discussions, the focus of this year’s event was particularly on sustainability reporting, climate change, diversity, and the integration of financial and non-financial information.
The Department of Accounting, Auditing and Taxation of the university of Innsbruck was once again successfully represented in 2023 and presented the following research projects:

In addition to the academic interactions, the gathering also provided an opportunity to explore the cultural heritage of Helsinki. Participants particularly enjoyed the impressive architecture, the idyllic landscape, and the hospitable atmosphere of Espoo and Helsinki.
