Have you recently moved to Tyrol form abroad and started working at a Tyrolean company or university? The Welcome Service Tirol is delighted to welcome you and invites you to a special event designed to help you connect and explore your new surroundings:
This time we’ll be visiting the medieval town of Rattenberg. With around 500 res-idents spread over just 11 hectares, Rattenberg is not only Austria’s smallest town, but also one of its most charming. Historic facades, traditional glassblowing crafts-manship, and a unique atmosphere make Rattenberg a true gem.
Together with our local guide, we’ll explore the town’s winding alleys and learn fascinating facts about its history and daily life. A highlight of the tour is the visit to the former Augustinian monastery, now a museum offering deep insights into the religious and cultural heritage of the region.
For children aged seven and older, we offer a special children’s tour run-ning parallel to the main city tour. Please note that each child must be accompa-nied by at least one parent.
After the tour, we’ll round off the day with a relaxed get-together at the Maler-winkel restaurant. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy dinner and connect with oth-ers in a pleasant and relaxed setting. Please note that there is no organized enter-tainment program for children in the restaurant.
