Sia Spiliopoulou Åkermark is director of The Åland Islands Peace Institute. She is Dr. Jur. and associate professor in international law. Her interests are in matters of diversity, international law and its institutions, collective security and the use of force, minorities, territorial autonomy and demilitarisation.
