Stammzellen und Regeneration

Platyhelminthes und Acoelomorpha besitzen vermutlich ein totipotentes Stammzellsystem. Aus diesem Stammzellpool werden laufend alle körpereigenen Zellen rekrutiert, er ermöglicht eine sehr dynamische Zell-Homöostase und ein gutes Regerationsvermögen. Die Ultrastruktur dieser Stammzellen, im Zellzyklus und in der Differenzierung, sowie die Lokalisation stammzellspezifischer Antigene sind Hauptbestandteil der elektronenoptischen Forschung zusammen mit der mikroskopischen Analyse von Zellen und Organen während der Regeneration und Wiederherstellung.

Energiefilter Elektronenmikroskopie

Der Omegafilter des Zeiss LIBRA 120 ermöglicht die Abbildung von inelastisch gestreuten Elektronen und somit die Analyse von Elementen mittels EELS und ESI Methoden.
