Current Research:

  • Taxonomy
  • Phylogeny

I am currently working on the poorly studied flatworm order Prolecithophora. On one hand, I intend to resolve their confusing interrelationship within the phylum Platyhelminthes by using transcriptiomic phylogeny. On the other hand, I analyse their regeneration abilities. Not only the presence or absence of regeneration abilities will be studied but also cellular events during the process will be observed.
