Current Research:

I currently study temporary adhesion in flatworms, especially the morphology of adhesion organs, and the characteristics of the secreted adhesion proteins. I am also interested in the regeneration processess of different flatworm taxa. I am a PhD student in the labs of Dr. Peter Ladurner and PD Dr. Bernhard Egger. My ORCiD is   0000-0002-8892-1538.

16. September 2019 - Received a full-time PhD grant (FNR-AFR PhD grant for 36 months) from the "Fonds national de la recherche Luxembourg" for the project "Towards a reversible bio-inspired glue for medical application". 


12. September 2019 - Poster about the first year of my PhD work was awarded a price at the "AAM2019" conference in Dresden.
