Who can publish open access?

Eligible are authors

  • that are corresponding authors and members of the University of Innsbruck or the Medical University of Innsbruck
  • whose articles were accepted by a hybrid journal
  • that are publishing a primary research article or a review

ATTENTION: It is not permitted to retrospectively change the corresponding author after peer review.

Procedure/Verification Process:

The University and Regional Library of Tyrol receives a monthly report from De Gruyter with accepted articles from the University of Innsbruck and the Medical University of Innsbruck. Based on this report, we will contact the authors eligible for funding and send them a form to approve the allocation of the CC-BY licence. If the author agrees to the Open Access option, please send the form directly to the publisher (openaccessproduction@degruyter.com).

Special agreement for Gold OA journals: In addition, there is a discount of 15% per article for publishing in Gold OA journals by De Gruyter.
