350-Year Anniversary of the University of Innsbruck – 50 Year-Anniversary of the Student Support Act

On 22 October 1969, 50 years ago, the parliament passed the Student Support Act for the first time.

At that time 8,514 students received a scholarship, the maximum amount was 1,235 Euros per year. In the academic year of 2018/19 about 43,000 students received the scholarship, the maximum amount was 10,092 Euros.

With the amendment in the summer of 2017, the largest increase in scholarships took place. As a result, the chances of obtaining a scholarship increased significantly, the amount of the scholarship also rose up to 841 Euros per month.

The granting rate is at almost 70%, so it advisable to submit an application to the “Stipendienstelle Innsbruck” for the winter semester of 2019 by 15.12.2019 at the latest!

It is worth filing the application – if you apply by 15 December 2019, a scholarship may be granted from September 2019 onwards!
