France-Awards of the interdisciplinary focus on France of the University of Innsbruck
With the France awards from last year’s exceptional scientific papers by researchers and students at the University of Innsbruck are awarded, the topics of which are either thematically related to France or have emerged within the scope of French-Austrian co-operations. The France awards are awarded every year in the categories of Post-Doc (€1,500), Dissertation (€800) and Master’s/Diploma Thesis (€400). Prizes may also be shared.
The Rector Univ.-Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult. Tilmann Märk, the director of the interdisciplinary Focus on France - Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Eva Lavric and other experts, evaluate the handed-in papers for their scientific value, their importance for the respective field and the relationship to France.
