The digital library includes digitized prints from our historical holdings as well as monographs, university publications and magazines, but also “born-digital” resources from the University of Innsbruck. It is continuously updated.

Digitization for blind and visually impaired students: books or scripts are scanned by us and the text is recognized using OCR software. Texts are prepared in such a way that they contain headings, footnotes and the like that are marked as such.

We have a large selection of e-books, e-journals and databases from all specialist areas and publishers. Individual databases are only accessible to members of the university or within certain faculties. Information on access restrictions can be found in our database information system (DBIS).

Works that are free of copyright can be ordered for a fee via our eBooks on Demand and Reprint Service for digitization and then as a reprint.
